7-Week Pupdate from Pickerel Pups

Hello from the busy Pickerel puppy house! Can you believe we are already at week seven? Just one more week and the puppies will be ready for their new homes! We are still waiting for the embark panels to be uploaded, but we have zero concerns because both Mom and Dad have a clean slate. Embark packages will be transferred over to new families once we receive them. The puppies are all growing and changing daily. They all have wonderful temperaments and are eating solid food exclusively. The puppies give good eye contact and they all seem to want to please. They love playing and going potty outside, and stalking the cats. The puppies also love the little plastic bounce house balls and discovering new plants to squash. The puppies have been dewormed at 2, 4 and 6 weeks old, and will have one more deworming at 8 weeks. All have had their first shots and have been cleared by our vet. Puppies will go home with their vet records.

A little bit on each puppy; Gold Girl is our biggest girl. She has the curliest coat and the cutest brown freckles on her nose. She has a medium temperament and is never too far from the pack. We call this "pack driven". She isn't loud, and loves belly rubs. She currently weighs 14 lbs 11 oz.

Pink Girl wins our most adventurous award. She loves to be outfront leading the pack on new adventures. She is not afraid to play on her own or pick a fight with any one of her siblings. She is also the last one to come in- there are adventures to be had! She has a medium wavy coat and is a beauty. It has been so fun watching her discover new things before the rest of the pack. She is a medium sized girl weighing 12 lbs 13 oz.

Purple Girl is our most vocal girl. She is noisy and grumbles when playing with her brothers and sisters. She is content staying close to people, while the rest of the pack plays elsewhere. She is our smallest girl weighing in at 12 lbs 1 oz. She is also our most affectionate girl, but will take on any of her siblings while griping about it. Small but mighty.

Blue Boy has already been chosen by his future family. He is our little Brave boy. Blue is not afraid to stand his ground and give a pint sized bark to prove he is not scared, and he isn't frightened of much- bark! Blue also loves to cuddle and will be one of the first ones to greet you and climb in your lap. Blue is our smallest boy- he weighs 12 lbs 3 oz.

Gray Boy is the winner of the most tender heart. He is most like his Mom. He patiently waits his turn to play or eat. He likes to watch to see what is going on before joining in. Gray will politely and gently put his paw on you to let you know he is there and ready for his pets. He is very quiet and often found off on his own, by your side, or back in the kennel watching the others. Gray still has the straightest coat and is also the biggest of the pack weighing 15 lbs 5 oz. Gray also doesn't mind baths, which is a bonus!

Green Boy has the perfect curly locks and is the most playful of the boys. Mr. Congeniality gets along with everyone, including our cats. Green is also our mouthiest pup, and has mastered untying shoes in a matter of seconds. He isn't a barker or a loner, he is all about fun! Green is our medium sized boy weighing 13 lbs 9 oz.
