The Pickerel Pups Difference
We're a small, family-run breeding program in the heart of Minnesota, raising puppies inside our home—not in a kennel facility. Every puppy receives daily handling, socialization, enrichment, and individualized attention from birth until the day they join their new family.
From comprehensive health testing and early training foundations to temperament evaluations and lifetime breeder support, our goal is simple: to raise confident, healthy companions prepared for life beyond our doorstep.

• Fiona × Claude → BORN 5/19/26 Smaller standards (≈45–50 lbs), solid coats, bright people-focused temperaments.
Planned via artificial insemination at Fiona’s next heat.
• Cosette × Pecco → BORN 5/20/26 Larger, calm-natured standards with beautiful phantom and parti coloring.
PennHIP complete with excellent results.

We are thoughtfully evaluating Rooney, Jane and Polly, all genetically clear through Embark and scheduled for PennHIP and/or OFA testing later this year. We will keep our site updated as our girls continue to grow.
