Older Pups for Adoption

​Pollywog (or "Polly" for short) is a 2 year old purebred AKC Old English Sheepdog with the sweetest heart you could imagine.

Dog-door trained and already knowing sit and wait, she is a loving, people-focused girl who truly wants to be close to her humans.

Polly is full of joyful energy — the kind that makes her whole body wiggle, stubby little tail and all. She loves to move, explore, and stay busy, and she would thrive in a home with space to run, a purpose to enjoy, or even light herding-style activities to keep her mind and body happy.

Genetically, Polly is beautifully clear with a perfect Embark panel, and she is in excellent health. Though currently shaved shorter, she is every bit the classic, fluffy-coated Sheepdog at heart.

Polly is incredibly gentle and kind — so gentle, in fact, that she often lets the other dogs (and even puppies) push her around a bit. Because of this tender nature, she would do best in a home where she can feel safe, cherished, and not overwhelmed by more dominant dogs.

She may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but underneath that softness is a deeply affectionate companion who bonds closely and loves fully.
