Occasionally we have a dog that either retires or doesn't quite fit what we look for in a Pickerel Pup pack member.  Insert Pollywog or "Polly" for short.   Polly is a one year old purebred AKC Old English Sheepdog.   We originally brought her into our program with the hopes of making her a future Momma, but we soon realized that Old English Sheepdogs and Poodles aren't always the perfect match.  As a natural herding dog, Polly's instincts don't quite align with the dynamics of our pack- we like to say Polly doesn't "speak poodle."

 

  Polly spends her days trying to herd the poodles and running laps on a well worn track she created herself.  Polly is in excellent health, with a completely clear Embark genetic panel.  Polly would thrive in a home where she has a job, like herding, and plenty of space to run and explore.  She is a high energy girl, with a sweet, and loving personality.  While she adores people, she can be a little shy when meeting new friends for the first time.  Polly is ready to find her perfect home where her unique talents can truly shine.
