Our puppies are raised with structure, affection, and consistency. We work closely with each family to help ensure the right fit — not just for now, but for years to come.
We’re here to answer questions, offer guidance, and remain a resource long after puppies go home.
What a spring it was! Our May puppies have grown up, and almost all have headed off to their new families. We couldn't be happier with how these puppies turned out—or more grateful for the wonderful families who chose to make a Pickerel Pup part of their lives.
Fiona & Claude — Royal Litter Update
Born May 19, 2026
Fiona and Claude welcomed nine beautiful Standard Poodle puppies—five girls and four boys.
This litter gave us a little bit of everything: outgoing adventurers, thoughtful observers, serious snugglers and a few who are absolutely convinced their person should be the center of their universe.
We loved this litter so much that Geneva, our little red girl, is staying right here with us as a hopeful future member of the Pickerel Pups program.
We were incredibly happy with the temperaments, size and overall development of these puppies and are already looking forward to watching them grow.
Coco & Pecco — Coffeehouse Litter Update
Born May 20, 2026
Coco had other plans for us and welcomed one very special boy—Arlo, our handsome tri-color tuxedo Standard Poodle.
Being an only child didn't last long! Coco happily stepped in to help Fiona and raised four of the Royal puppies alongside Arlo. Watching her immediately accept those babies as her own was pretty special.
Arlo has since joined his family and is growing into one handsome—and very loved—boy. We couldn't be more proud of him.

🐾The Pack
There is always something happening around here!
Geneva is officially staying with us, and we couldn't be more excited to watch this little red girl grow. She has a long way to go before we'll know what her future holds, but for now, we're just enjoying her and seeing where she takes us.
Agnes continues to grow into a beautiful young female—and quite a bit more dog than we originally expected! We are excited to watch our little creampuff mature and see what the future holds for her.
Rooney and Jane are growing up right alongside the rest of the crew. As always, we'll let health, temperament and maturity determine what role they may eventually have within our program.
And Polly is still Polly. If you know, you know. 😉
💛 What's Next
We're putting a lot of thought into the next chapter for Pickerel Pups.
Our Standard Poodles have completely stolen our hearts, and we're excited to continue growing that side of our program—with an increased focus on beautiful structure, wonderful temperaments, health and a little more color variety in the years ahead.
We are also planning future litters with some familiar pairings we already know and love, while carefully considering a few new combinations within our pack.
As always, nothing here happens simply because we can breed two dogs. We take our time, watch our dogs mature, complete appropriate health testing and make breeding decisions based on what we believe each pairing can bring to the next generation.
And, knowing us, the plans will probably change a time or two along the way. 😂
